These are 3D printed out of 17-4 stainless steel.
Unlike the LWRC factory tool, this version is cylindrical to allow the installation of barrels other than those made by LWRC.
This geometry also reduces material usage (metal 3D printing cost is based on material use) and the inside diameter is a hair over an inch. The socket would have to be placed over the barrel end, as the tips of the "C" shape are .79" apart.
Works with LWRC 9-Tooth Barrel Nuts and uses a 1/2" square drive handle.
