RCM MP5-E Bolt Head is a drop in Upgrade/Replacement for all existing MP5 style pistols and rifles. It has proven to increase function and reliability in semi & full auto weapons. Rigorous testing has proven results far superior to the standard extractor and extractor spring set up.
This “Enhanced” bolt head has a very robust extractor spring geometry that is mechanically superior to the factory HK bolt head design.

I had one of these installed in my MP5K clone and the difference between this and the many iterations of the original MP5 bolt are night and day. Even a great and new MP5 bolt does not extract ammunition as reliably as this bolt. Mine has lasted up to 7,000 rounds so far. If the extractor ever does wear out( has not happened to mine yet) replacing the extractor is as simple as replacing the extractor swing arm. The kit to do so is not expensive and consists of one new extractor arm, spring, and pin. Replacing it is a 3-5 minute process. I am grateful that I was introduced to this bolt head as it turned a subpar AP5P MP5 clone into a reliable machine with 9mm bullet weights that range from 115-147 suppressed and unsuppressed at the full cyclic rate.
