After machining, every GEN 2.0 hammer is put through a six-stage hand-polishing process to achieve a mirror-like contact finish.

We ran two full 30-round magazines through each firearm — a total of 22,800 rounds — without a single hammer-related malfunction. The hammer’s radius is precisely machined in relation to the disconnector and sear, creating a smooth, consistent ramp for reliable cycling. The cut geometry ensures the bolt cannot hang up behind the hammer, allowing the hammer to sink fully into the lower exactly as designed. The new relief undercut also provides critical clearance for the disconnector and trigger bar, eliminating the single biggest reliability issue found in earlier-generation hammers.
